Atticus is a 13 yrs old Quarter horse who was found in such deplorable condition that he was nearly starved to death. As a result of the lack of care he received for years, Atticus has had issues with abscesses that have been controlled through regular farrier care, poultice packs and minor pain control. Indigo is a gorgeous Blue Mule who is about 14 hands. We have no knowledge whether he's broke to ride or not, but he does need an experienced Mule handler. Mules are notorious for predator control and we have no doubt that Indigo would excel at this task, but it also makes us question if he would be good in a home with children. Wendy was so neglected and abused that she needs to be matched up with a calm gentle person who has advanced horse experience or who plans to use a reputable trainer/horse whisperer. She's gained confidence in people and the last thing we want is for her to have a set back. Wendy is about 14 hands and as fast as lightening.
